The Symposium on Morphometrics and Evolution of Forms focuses on the study of biological evolution of forms. It is open to anyone from different fields (palaeontology, anthropology, developmental biology, archaeology, medicine, evolutionary sciences, bioinformatics, etc.) who develops or applies quantitative methods for studying form.
The 13th edition of the SMEF will be held from 17 to 19 June 2026 in Lyon
Presentations will take place at the IUT on the Doua Campus - Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University
Registration is free but mandatory
The symposium has been organised every two years for over 20 years. For this thirteenth edition, it will be held over two and a half days and will bring together a large part of the national community. The SMEF is also open to international participants. The languages of presentation will therefore be French and English.
The conference is open to researchers, teacher-researchers, technical staff and students.
